The Annual General Meeting of GCNCC will be held on Thursday 28 July 2011 at 6pm at Sanctuary Cove Yacht Club, The Promenade, Sanctuary Cove QLD 4212

At the AGM as per clause 14 a,b,c a new management committee shall be elected. The Management Committee of the Chamber shall consist of a President, at least one but no more than 3 Vice-Presidents, Secretary, Treasurer and a maximum of six (6) other, all of whom shall be financial members of the Chamber and be fit and proper persons to hold such office and be elected at the Annual General Meeting and hold office for twelve months.

The election of officers and other members of the Management Committee shall take place in the following manner:

i. any two (2) members of the Chamber shall be at liberty to nominate any other member to serve as an officer or other member of the Management Committee;

ii. the nomination, which shall be in writing and signed by the member and the member’s proposed seconder, shall be lodged with the secretary at least fourteen (14) days before the Annual General Meeting at which the election is to take place;

iii. a list of the candidates’ names in alphabetical order, with the proposers’ and seconders’ names, will be posted on the website

for at least seven (7) days immediately preceding the Annual General Meeting;

iv. balloting lists shall be prepared (if necessary) containing the names of the candidates in alphabetical order, and each member present at the Annual General Meeting shall be entitled to vote for any number of such candidates not exceeding the number of vacancies;

v. should, at the commencement of such meeting, there be an insufficient number of candidates nominated, nominations may be taken from the floor of the meeting.

Nominations must be forwarded to the secretary by Tuesday 12 July 2011
